World Book Day Thursday 5th March
Dear Parents/Guardians
World Book Day is fast approaching and this year falls on Thursday 5th March. The main aim of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.
As part of our celebrations, we would like to invite our Infant School Children to dress up as their favourite character from a book.

“I Can Read with My Eyes Shut!”
Throughout the day, there will be creative and exciting activities for children across school to take part in, based on this iconic novel.
